Mission

The Amitofo Guanyin Temple is poised to be a stunning addition to the bustling business district of Chinatown in the renowned city of Las Vegas. The temple will be located on a spacious two-acre site at the intersection of DESERT INN RD and DUNVILLE. The construction of the temple will begin once sufficient donations have been raised.

The temple's construction will take place in three phases:

Phase 1: Construction of the three main halls dedicated to Amitabha Buddha, Guanyin Bodhisattva, and Dashizhi Bodhisattva. Three six-foot bronze Buddha statues have already been purchased and donated by followers.

Phase 2: Construction of classrooms and a meditation center. These facilities will be used for a variety of activities such as workshops on Buddhist scriptures, meditation classes, talent classes, Cub Scout classes, Chinese classes, and English naturalization classes for the elderly.

Phase 3: Construction of a reception center for overnight stays. Followers who have made donations to support the temple will be able to stay for free. Additionally, through a committee meeting, it has been decided that the names of all supporters will be engraved on the beams, pillars, or merit wall of the temple. This serves as a show of appreciation and encouragement for future support.

The first phase of construction, including the mountain gate, main hall, side halls, and apse, is estimated to cost at least $1.5 million. Your donations will go towards covering the cost of building materials, labor, and interior decoration.
